To apply for/renew a Blue Card or Exemption Card, please click here.

Both of these cards are issued by the Queensland Department of Justice and Attorney-General - Blue Card Services once it has carried out a background check to see if a person is eligible to work in the areas of child-related work.

 

Mike Ralston is in charge of all enquiries and is the nominated officer to sight your identification and forms.  If a person is eligible, they are issued a positive notice letter and a Blue / Exemption Card.

It is compulsory for all members of our Association who are active cricket umpires must have a Blue Card (Queensland Working with Children Check) [or in the case of registered teachers or sworn police officers, an Exemption Card] to officiate. Members will not be allocated to any games or fixtures without being in possession of a Blue / Exemption Card.
